Canadian Practice Skills (CPS) Online - Overview
The International Pharmacy Graduate Program hybrid online program is specifically developed to increase access to professional and clinical skills needed to practice as a pharmacist in Canadian pharmacies.
Program participants gain critical language, workplace and practice skills necessary for licensure in Canada. They also obtain increased professional skills, self-assessment skills and skills needed for effective communication with patients and health care providers.
The program provides access to a resource bank of content experts, learning tools, access centres, and links to support services.
The IPG hybrid online course consists of two Canadian Pharmacy Skills Modules (CPS I and CPS II), each delivered over 14 weeks. The CPS modules include three 1-week Toronto-based workshops; one at the program onset, one at the end of CPS I and one at the end of CPS II.
CPS I Online course modules are offered each summer and winter and CPS II Online courses are offered each spring and fall each year. The IPG program has a rolling admissions policy. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a continual basis until all spaces are filled. Please click on the link to see eligibility requirements: http://www.ipgcanada.ca/eligibility.html.
