Successful completion of all courses in each section is required for promotion to the next level. Successful completion of the Orientation course is recommended but not required.

CPS Egypt - Registration

Entry Requirements:

• Orientation to Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context: In order to participate in the Orientation to Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context course participants must be a pharmacist and have an English language proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 6, 7, or 8, IELTS 6 or equivalent  MELAB , TOEFL (iBT) or TOEFL (CBT).

• Canadian Pharmacy Skills Module 1 (CPS 1): Applicants must have successfully completed the PEBC Evaluating examination. English language requirements for entry into CPS I are as per guidelines set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists see (http://www.ocpinfo.com/client/ocp/OCPHome.nsf/web/Language+Proficiency). Completion of the Orientation course is recommended.

• Canadian Pharmacy Skills Module 2 (CPS 2): Applicants must have met the entry requirements for CPS 1, and successfully completed CPS 1. Completion of the Orientation course is recommended.

• Canadian Pharmacy Skills Module 3 (CPS 3): Applicants must have met the entry requirements for CPS 1, and successfully completed CPS 1 and CPS 2. Completion of the Orientation course is recommended.

  – Application Form (Application deadline: February 7, 2011)

Course Schedule:

• Orientation to Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context – 10 weeks (facilitated online program) August 3, 2010 to October 8, 2010. Application and fees are due by July 11, 2010.
  
  
• CPS 1 – 8 weeks, October 24, 2010 to December 16, 2010 (includes 1 week of examinations; November 16-19 & December 7, 2010 are holidays). CPS 1 Application deadline is September 26, 2010. The course fee is due October 10, 2010.
  
  
• CPS 2 – 7 weeks, January 9, 2011 to February 24, 2011 (includes 1 week of examinations). CPS 2 Application deadline is November 28, 2010. The course fee is due December 12, 2010.
  
  
• CPS 3 – 7 weeks, March 7, 2011 to April 21, 2011 (includes 1 week of examinations and will be taking place in Toronto). CPS 3 Application deadline is February 7, 2011. The course fee is due February 28, 2011.
  

The Orientation course and CPS courses will be offered contingent on sufficient enrolment.

Program Fees (all funds are in Canadian Dollars):

Orientation Course	$275 + $50 ACU Administration fee (non-refundable)
CPS 1	$4,500 + $250 application fee (non-refundable) + $100 ACU Administration fee (non-refundable)
CPS 2	$4,500 + $250 application fee (non-refundable) + $100 ACU Administration fee (non-refundable)
CPS 3	$4,000 + $250 application fee (non-refundable)

Program fees are for courses only and do not include costs of textbooks, supplies, personal expenses, etc.
