Successful completion of all courses in each section is required for promotion to the next level.

CPS Egypt - Registration

Entry Requirements:

  • Canadian Pharmacy Skills Module 1 (CPS 1): Applicants must have successfully completed the PEBC Evaluating examination. English language requirements for entry into CPS I are as per guidelines set by the Ontario College of Pharmacists see (http://www.ocpinfo.com/client/ocp/OCPHome.nsf/web/Language+Proficiency).

  • Canadian Pharmacy Skills Module 2 (CPS 2): Applicants must have met the entry requirements for CPS 1, and successfully completed CPS 1.

  • Canadian Pharmacy Skills Module 3 (CPS 3): Applicants must have met the entry requirements for CPS 1, and successfully completed CPS 1 and CPS 2.

Recommended courses:

  • Orientation to Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context (IEHP)
    This course will provide learners with a deepened understanding of the Canadian health care system, what Canadian patients expect from their health care providers, and how to communicate with patients and caregivers. The online delivery format is 6 weeks in duration with approximately 6-7 hours per week of course work.

  • CPS 1 – 8 weeks, April 26 to June 9, 2011 (includes 1 week of examinations). CPS 1 Application deadline is March 14, 2011. The course fee is due April 4, 2011.

  • CPS 2 – 7 weeks, June 19 to August 4, 2011 (includes 1 week of examinations). CPS 2 Application deadline is May 20, 2011. The course fee is due June 6, 2011.

  • CPS 3 – 7 weeks, August 22 to October 7, 2011 (includes 1 week of examinations and will be taking place in Toronto). CPS 3 Application deadline is August 4, 2011. The course fee is due August 15, 2011.

The CPS courses will be offered contingent on sufficient enrolment.

Successful completion of all courses in each section is required for promotion to the next level.


Program Fees (all funds are in Canadian Dollars):

CPS 1

$4,500 + $250 application fee (non-refundable) + $100 ACU Administration fee (non-refundable)

CPS 2

$4,500 + $250 application fee (non-refundable) + $100 ACU Administration fee (non-refundable)

CPS 3

$4,000 + $250 application fee (non-refundable)

Program fees are for courses only and do not include costs of textbooks, supplies, personal expenses, etc.
